How can we reform the criminal justice system by harvesting innovation in between inside and outside prison?
[RE]versed is a service for an innovation incubator in between prison and outside prison. It helps re-entering citizens to develop creative and entrepreneurial skills and define future careers, and innovation teams/startups to increase their value without loosing equity. The service has been developed to suit the Italian context, through co-creation with a lawyer, a re-entered citizen who was convicted for organised crime activities and two prison directors.
The process has been enriched by transferable insights from London-based and Boston-based institutes and experts: LinkedOut from MIT Media Lab and Design Against Crime (Central-St Martin), UCL Serious Crime Department, InHouse Records.
